Mick Taylor

Michael Kevin Taylor nació el 17 de enero de 1949 en Welwyn Garden City, Inglaterra. Empezó en un grupo llamado The Juniors. Parte de los integrantes de esta banda fueron contratados para una nueva formación, The Gods. Antes de los dieciocho años ya tocaba con John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers y había grabado los álbums Crusade y Blues from Laurel Canyon. Estuvo desde 1966 hasta 1969. En ese año ingresó en The Rolling Stones en reemplazo de Brian Jones. Mick le aportó a los Stones otro sonido, pero no duró mucho. En 1975 deja a los Stones cediéndole el lugar a Ron Wood. La etapa de Taylor con los Stones se considera la época de oro del grupo.

Mick volvería a tocar con los Stones en su gira de 1981. En 1989, junto a The Rolling Stones, ingresó en el Salón de la Fama del Rock. Desde que dejó al grupo, hizo su propia carrera solista o participando con otros artistas como Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Carla Olson, Jack Bruce y Ron Wood.
